John Wiitala

Here's John Wiitala, the official timekeeper of the band. The rhythm section was always in the pocket, and sure laid a nice foundation for ensemble and solo playing. John plays regularly around the Bay area, due in large part to his tasteful bass solos and solid time. This pic on the left was taken in the green room at the Hollywood Bowl, where the band performed the following week.
